Wall Report 24 Feb 2012 01:14

I am posting this for a friend who appears to be having a problem with her Asterisk connection.

There may be a connection with her Norman Eedle seach

As I receive more info I will update so she can continue with her search.

Hi Wall

Did your friend say where and when???

LadyKira

LadyKira Report 24 Feb 2012 12:32

Perhaps it was mistranscribed Asterix?

I was thinking rather than asterisk she may have meant star, all she said was that "my * is missing" so it could be Star

'More' information?

More than what?

LadyKira

LadyKira Report 26 Feb 2012 22:31

Sorry Flick and Lindsey*
This is a spoof following on from Tracey. Norman Eedle search. Robert has posted this after a comment Tracey made about losing her asterisk on FB.
No harm meant. Just an attempt to be light hearted.

I'm sorry you have lost your front *

can you provide some more information, then we could go and search for it in GR's basket of *****

if I try to change my name, I'm told that it is already in use, and I can't have it :-S :-S :-S

Light dawns!

maybe that is why we cannot find Asterix :-)

sylvia :-) :-)

Problem

Unless you were aware of the earlier thread how would you know it was not a genuine request or read the comments on FB

LadyKira

LadyKira Report 27 Feb 2012 00:28

I realised that which is why I have put in an explanation.

Anyone can reply with a tongue in cheek response or choose to ignore it. ;-)

GB

for one thing ...... it was started just after the previous thread was raised from the depths!

and they were one after the other for a while

second ...... a hint might be that it was posted by Wall

regardless, there was no need for Flick's comment!

You can not judge a poster by their board name - which in this case was not a clue. I am not a Baby but it is part of my board name !! Wall could be genuine as it is a surname after all

I only spotted it was not genuine because I had seen the earlier thread which was nudged up because of something said between Wayne/T and Kevin

Is this board really the place for this thread?

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 27 Feb 2012 03:56

are we not allowed to have fun then??

Have we all become so staid and stuffy?

Pretty poor place this has become if no-one can have a laugh!

after all, it is making fun of finding Mr N Eddle ;-)
