Looking for family members past and present for Albert andrews i know he had a brother john but did not talk about his family he was born in 1897 he came from Northfield Bham i belive his parents were James and Ellen. Can anyone help me dig deeper please any help will be appreciated.

PM from James about my posting of the 1911 census -

i have this list on my tree i have contacted other members who have these similar names but dont think they are related could i have the wrong one or could they have the wrong one my father is in a family grave and all the dates are correct my mother his second wife can only tell me about his brother john . my father did not speak of his family and had fell out with his brother my mother tell me they drove passed his place but did not stop and she tells me it was bartley green this is all i had to go on.


I have written to James advising to remove the marked as answered tick.

Hi Rose.my mother has there mariage cert but he was married previously to a clara may williams and they had a son who died at 10 years old he had a brother john who he did not like or get on with he did not talk of his family but this is who i would like to find out more about my father died in 1982 he is buried with his first wife and son (a family grave) all we no is he came from bartley green.Thanx for your help.

If you think his parents were James and Ellen, the 1911 above must be yours. But not sure why you are doubting it - assuming I am reading your message to Lynski correctly.
Have you got his father's name on the marriage cert? And his occupation?

I know the Northfield/Bartley Green area very well as I was brought up there. Jiggins Lane borders the two so fits in perfectly. (I drive along it on my way to work funnily enough!).
