Any chance that some one could take a look at the 1891,1901,1911 census for a family called Ledgard. 1891 census I believe John was living in the Manningham area of Bradford. 1881 census shows John aged 33,his wife Annie aged 31 and their son Herbert aged 2 living Riding Street. Batley.

Hi Kath, Thank you for your quick response to my request. Is there any chance you can have al look on the census for a family called Maud. Emily Maud married the Herbert Brook Ledgard in 1901. I have not been able to find Emily before her marriage. I know her father was called Samuel Maud and according to Emilys marriage certificate in 1900 Samuel was a deceased grocer. Emily was born in Bingley in 1877/8 Many thanks Bev x

Correction added on a new thread: http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards.page/board/ancestors/thread/1300570
"sincere apology to Kath for giving her incorrect information regarding census look ups for the Maud family. I was looking for an Emily Maud and her family and stated that Emily's father was called Samuel Maud a deceased grocer at the time of Emily's marriage in 1900. On closer inspection of the marriage certificate the name should be Timothy Maud and not Samuel ( my copy difficult to read."
(Have suggested the other thread is deleted).
