Hello
"I hope you can help me - My great grandfather name was James Brazil Born 1836 somewhere in Ireland he came to England and married Isabella Briggs and lived in 36 Dock St East Monk Wearmouth Durham"

Marily, the Chat board is not the right place for queries like this, but Kempinasunhat has found info for you. Hopefully, you don't have threads anywhere else on the board about this.

Giving all the info you have, to help anyone trying to help you, and staying with / returning to your thread to respond to replies, are the things to do.

There was a family called Brazil inAmersham Bucks, who were butchers and sausage and pie makers, sold out to Boyers(Bowyers) afterthe war, my grandfather used to sell pigs to them, they had been there a long time.
