railway cottages

hi does anyone know of the railway cottages in kirkby in ashfield i had family there and visited them in the 60s but only knew him as uncle edmund he lived there with his children i seem to think it was near the pit as i would love to get to that side of the family they have to have connections with the bird/holmes/or wagstaff families

Pat, Morning, I don't think you will get too many takers on this one.
I have been on here about 5 1/2 years, and have never seen anyone from exactly there. Budgie and George of Westbury, and about your nearest bet.
I have not been over there for years, but know that there are several Wagstaff Lane's around the area.
Perhaps you should put something in the Chad, or contact BBC.Radio Nottingham.

Although it doesn't really matter on this occassion, if you ever ask for a 'look up', please only post once - it saves duplication of effort by the volunteers ;-)
