Looking for info re William T Moss born approx 1858 and Margaret Healy born approx 1858 - in England - William was a policeman in NSW Australia 1880, maybe a policeman in England. He married Margaret Healey in NSW in 1879. Sorry it is double posted, put the wrong thread title in!

Bob, you need to buy the marriage certificate.. it should have (at least) his fathers name.

Reg.No./Year .. 1083/1879
Groom .. MOSS WILLIAM Y
Bride .. HEALEY MARGARET
District .. SYDNEY

If you know when & where he died, Australian death certificates usually have lots of extra info, including "How long in colony".
We may be able to find him on a passanger list if we know when to look.
