Find Ancestors

Hi I have been trying to find a very elusive relative and with the help of someone on this site I have been given a POSSIBLE piece of information

I was wondering if anyone is visiting the Nat. Archives whether they could do a look-up for me. Apparently this information came from Ancestry and the person who gave it to me said there was no information on the Medal Card.

Therefore I am looking to find out what the Service Records shows. if indeed it is the correct person.

Name: Arthur Edward Watson
Regiment or Corps: Royal Army Service Corps
Regimental number: S/307289

Anyway who can help it would be very much appreciated not sure if there is a cost involved.

Will show aprox age,
possibley Next of Kin.with an address,
If married,children and pobblie names and ages.
Date of enlistment,
Medial conditon,
Body,scars,moles,etc,
Dates of posting and where to,
in fact a whole host of information ,but again there can be very little,and or if the records have survived,

Thank you Kay as I say I am not sure it is the correct person but I have got to try every lead that is sent my way to try and solve this elusive gentlemans lineage.

His medal card suggest he enlisted in 1915,,,

where and where was he born as he may be on the Army Pensions,,,,,

Sorry not been on earlier been flitting back and forth this evening.

Ah..........that is the question no definite proof I THINK he was born in 1900 (which would have only made him 15 according to medal card) and I THINK the area may be West Ham.

I've done a search for Edward and have come up with information for a wife in Scotland as the correspondance address.
Another address was - 3rd Gloucestershire Regiment, Maidstone.
Could this be your Edward?

Lisa I am very sorry but I have not a clue the whole family are very eluisve (been trying for over 4 years not and never get anywhere)the problem is that I do not have a place of birth for Edward Watson (snr) or his son Arthur Edward Watson (the only evidence I have for sure is that Arthur Edward Watson married in 1922 in Stratford London.
