Can any one find any info on Robert Allott Born about 1631 thought to be Birstall West Yorkshire could his father be Richard Allott B1610/12 also from Birstall he married Unice Mercer 12/1/1630 Birstall

Head of the known Birstall family tree is a Richard ALLATT or ALLOTT & Eunice MERCER (m. 1630). Richard would be born about or before 1612. Their known children include John ALLOTT (c1633), Elizabeth ALLOTT (c1636), Martha ALLOTT (c1639), Dorothy ALLOTT (c1641), a daughter (c1644), & Richard ALLOTT (c1647).

Around the same time a Robert ALLOTT (c1631) s/o Robert ALLOTT m. Susanna SENIOR at Leeds in 1655. There children include Mary ALLOTT (c1656; m. John SMITH), Elizabeth ALLOTT (c1660), James ALLOTT (c1664), Richard ALLOTT (c1667) & Hannah ALLOTT (c1670).

Both Richard & Robert would have been born before 1611/612 and may be brothers.

Son of Richard & Eunice John ALLOTT m. Mary BOOTH. John & Mary's children include Martha ALLOTT (c1660; m. David HAYTHORN), Elizabeth ALLOTT (c1661), Susanna ALLOTT (c1663), James ALLOTT (c1664), Richard ALLOTT (c1665), Phoebe ALLOTT (c1667; m. Samuel NEWSOME), Dorothy ALLOTT (c1670), Eunice ALLOTT (c1672) & John ALLOTT (c1674).

Sarah LEE), John ALLOTT (c1688; m. Mary ROBINSON), Ruth ALLOTT (c1689), Mary ALLOTT (c1691; m. Joshua WALKER), Joseph ALLOTT (c1693; m. Martha COPLEY), Joshua ALLOTT (c1694), Caleb ALLOTT (c1694), Samuel ALLOTT (c1697), James ALLOTT (c1700; m. Susanna WHEWELL & Timothy ALLOTT (c1702; m. Mary NEWSOME d/o Samuel NEWSOME & Phoebe ALLOTT, above).

John ALLOTT & Sarah LEE are my 7xGGPs. Their children include Susanna ALLOTT (c1712; m. Benjamin PEELE), Mary ALLOTT (c1714; m. James LEE), Samuel ALLOTT (c1716), Sarah ALLOTT (c1717; m. James GILL), Elizabeth ALLOTT (c1719), William ALLOTT (c1722), Martha ALLOTT (c1724), Dinah ALLOTT (c1726), Ellen ALLOTT (c1729; m. Stephen GREENALD), Grace ALLOTT (c1731) & Hannah ALLOTT (c1735)

Dinah ALLOTT married Benjamin POPPLEWELL on 25.9.1745 at Birstall, WRY. My 6xGGPs.

Birstall had a number of ALLOTT families (sometimes recorded as ALLATT) and the exact family tree is not always clear. Despite the number of Birstall records, there are incomplete periods due to illness of or the absence of an incumbent.
