trying to find out about a walter mcnamee,he had a child with a hilda hayhurst in bradford area back in 1951 all searches i have done have not been any good,i dont have an age for him nor a death date,in fact the name and location in 1951 is all i have,please help.....thanks.....

pam i too found that link and asked a tree owner cotaining that entry about it but got no reply,did you find any other info on the same person ie walter mcnamee ?

gillian is that for the same walter both dates ?

did the entry for his birth show his mothers surname because on my birth cert if states my father as walter sugden,then on my adoption papers it staes walter mcnamee in brackets then again sugden ?

I put the birth index Vol 9b Page 106 They look to be the same person. Does not show mother. Cannot find a marriage index for Walter.
Found a marriage in 1907 for Samuel Sugden and Edith Mcnamee in Bradford. Walter turned up before the ceremony.

and 1911 census they are living at 30 Robert St Bfd

good idea...if only i could work this site alittle better i would do just that,info comes n that fast i carnt keep up iam all over the place...thank you for the advice.

In Community, on the left of the page you will see the heading "Tools". Click on "My Thread Participation". That will take you to the threads that you have posted. When you or anyone else adds a reply it brings them back to the front page of the trying to find board.

Hope this helps as the rules are one thread per family. This saves helpers looking for information that has already been "found". e.g. Samuel Sugden and his wife and children on the 1911 census.
