My great grandma Gladys McVety married a William Peacock, they had a child, Derek (my grandad), but Gladys died around 1941 either in a bomb attack on Drolysden, or from something else, William may have died in the bomb too if that's the case, but my grandad thinks differently, if anyone has any information on their marriage, or on their deaths, please let me know, thanks x

There's no civilian Gladys Peacock death listed for WWII and the only William was husband of Clara.

Please be careful not to start too many threads about closely related people. This one is about William:

You don't seem to have read the instructions ... please click on Help Clinic and read them now. Returning to respond to replies rather than posting and running is one of the instructions, not starting multiple threads about the same family is another.

Click on Trying to Find after reading Help Clinic, to get out of the "surname board" loop and browse a few threads. Nobody "has" information, but many people can help find it.

"After posting a question, please stay on the boards for a while as replies are very quick. You may be needed to answer questions and give feedback to the replies given."

The idea is to post a question at a time when one is free to read and respond to replies.

yes, i understand the idea behind it, but the replies on this post are consecutive hours or there abouts, and i can't stay on for that long, but if it makes you feel better, i'll remember that for future reference, thank you :) xx
