Hello! I am tyring to find anyone in my Anders line who were quite numerous but seem very hard to find! My Nan is Florence Lloyd (nee Anders, b1914) and her parents were Leah Beadle (nee Harris, b1875) and Frederick Albert Anders (b1878). They lived in Islington and he at one time was a ploiceman. Her siblings were Edna Eileen Anders and Katherine Georgina Anders, step siblings were Hector Beadle, Sophia Georgina Beadle, Elsie Adelaide Beadle and Ida Laura Katherine Beadle. However its Fredericks family who are even more interesting! His father was Henry Anders (b1842) and Mary Ann Eliza Carter (b1846). They lived in Chelsea. He was a reporter/journalist though I dont know who/what with and he was a board member of the original Abbey Road (later Abbey national) building society - I have pictures of him thanks to my Mum asking about it one day when she was working at Abbey National (I dont think she had believed my Nan!) Anyway Henry had quite a number of Anders children: Elga, Helen, Henry, Herbert, Agnes, Amy, Frederick, Leonard, Charles and Beatrice dating from 1869 to about 1885). Anybody out there with more information my Nan (now 90) would love to know! |
