Hi, I am trying to find relatves of my Paternal Grandmother Ada Barratt born in October 1899 in Bermondsy London. She had 4 brothers Arthur, Got ? Godfrey, Daniel and Wag, ? William and a sister Caroline who I believe died in childhood. I would love to have info on her parents. Jan.

Hello Jan,
I have just got around to the Barratt bit of my tree, and I think we have a match.I have a William Charles Barratt a harness maker and his wife Mary, they have in 1901, 4 children Godfrey,Daniel Arthur and Ada.In 1891 there is one called Ragg. Then he is 16.
William's mother was the sister of my g.g.grandmother She was Caroline Mogridge, amd my gg grandmother was Emma Mogridge.
I have not yet finished putting the latest batch onto my tree, but will as soon as poss.I had assumed that Caroline had married, but there is a Caroline Elizabeth M Barratt on Free bmd who died in 1894 aged 4.As grannie was Caroline, and G granny was Ann Elizabeth this could well be the same one. Hope to hear from you soon. Eileen
