My dad died in 1982 when I was young and so I have no real idea of any info relating to his side of the family. From what I understand his mother Mary May BRETT lived in London and either her father or grandfather was a Romany gypsy. She married Walter William Coggin and had a son Barry William in December 1946. After Walters death in the 1960's (I think) she remarried to Albert Crossman. She lived in Bethnal Green. I believe that she was a member of the Moseley Blackshirts, I suppose during the 2nd World War. Her brother worked for the BBC as a chauffeur. If anyone has any info. please email me. Thanks.
