Hello im trying to find out about my fathers family his dad was called thomas john butler 1917-1969 his dad was called thomas walter he married francis beaumont in 1915 his fathwe was called thomas fredwick and that is all i know so if any one can help as i dont know where to go now thanks michelle.

You need to get birth certficates for the 2 Grandparents that will give their parents details. That will take you back to the censusses for 1800sto other family members ..and so on.
