Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 5 Send Message	William Henry Butler was my great grandfather, born in Wooburn Buckinghamshire 1823. He married my g/grandmother Amelia Hearn when he was 50 years old. He was previously married and widowed. Please, I'd like to know something of this previous life, possibly in the Buckinghamshire area.

	I wonder if he has a record of service somewhere he is an army pensioner on 81 census?

Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 5 Send Message	Thanks Paula, I do have the marriage certificate of William and Amelia 1872, it shows his father was John Butler, school master. Just can't find anything about the first wife, so don't even know her name. Jean.
