I am trying to put together my father's side of the family of which I know little except:
My grandfather was Arthur Butler married to Harriett Frances Greenwood. They married in 1901. Due to the now available 1911 census, I find that at that time they were living at 17 Grange Road, West Molesey, Esher in Surrey. In 1911 they have 5 children...Arthur Patrick 9, Richard 7, Laurence Thomas 6 ( my father), Charles frank 2, and Mary Kathleen 8 mths. There may have been more later. My father always said he was one of 13. How true, I don't know.
Arthur's Father ( my great grandfather) was born in Ireland and his name was John Butler. John's occupation is given as 'painter' on my grandfather's marriage cert. Arthur's occupation is given as 'Bootmaker'
Mary Kathleen may have married a Henry Harrop and Charles Frank may have married a Florence Brazier. That's alI have. Any feedback would be most welcome.
