Trying to find parents of Ross Butler born Bradford Yorkshire 1852, unable to find them on 1861 census, can anyone help.

Hi Susan..Yorkshire BMD's give ROSS BUTLER born Bradford East 1852.....the Reference is BFDE/26/28.

If you are unfamiliar with the system......you Google "Yorkshire BMD's"....this wil give you a scroll down menu. You must look for "Yorkshire Births Marriages and Deaths" ignore all the other rubbish..

Then you simply follow the instructions to find Births.......you will find the same page i found. You click on the Ref. Number and it will give you a printable form and instructions how to fill it in and for £7.00...you will purchase the Birth certificate giving you the parents..easy peasy.
