can anyone tell me why there is no record of my birth? i was adopted at 6 months old.i can find no record at all. am i looking in the wrong place sandra

Are you looking in the right "quarter"? My son was born in the December but shows in the March quarter - so maybe you are in what feels like the wrong part of the year?

You'll only find your birth record if you know your birth name. If you don't have these details you will need to contact your local Social Services who will be able to help you.

If your adoptive parents are still alive I'm sure they'd tell you.
