Im looking for any relatives of my Grandfather James Leslie Butler.(aka Jim) 01.12.1921 He lived in Leyton, East London. Worked in the print up at Fleet Street, London for a number of years. He has a brother Reginald Butler, and a sister I think her name was Gladys, she died during childbirth. Sadly Jim passed away in 1979. I am interested in any information on his Father George Butler. The History of my ggrandfather George is a mystery!!! As it is claimed that he went on the run to Canada, after the death of his brother. Then came to England using the surname Butler. It is thought he may have changed his surname to Butler from Bishop. Sorry information is not very clear but this is all the information I have. |
