Trying to find Butler

Hello I'm trying to trace the descendents and the ancestors of John Butler, born at Acton Turville, Glos. in 1849. He married Sarah Elizabeth Ferris in 1870. He was the horse bus driver at Wootten-under-Edge, Glos. c.1880 - 1900. His eldest son William James was my grandfather. William married Kate Hart of Kempston, Beds. in 1900. He was a coachman in London until 1943. John and Sarah had other sons, Jack, Francis, Frederick and George. There was one daughter, Hester or Bess. Any luck amongst the thousands of Butlers!! I'm still looking! John Butler married a second time c.1898. His second wife was Amanda? from Kingscote, Wotton-undedr-Edge. They lived at Yatton, Somerset & had 2 children (at least), Alfred born 1899 and Hilda born 1901. I hope my luck holds good!! Many thanks. Michael Rutt |
