Trying to find Butler

I need help in tracing an elusive branch of my family. My Great Grandmother was born Mary Ann Butler in Liverpool in 1844 and christened on 14/7/1844 in St Peter's, Liverpool. Her parents were James Butler and Ann Goodwin who married in St Peter's on 27/6/1841. Mary Ann married William Williams (born in Ellesmere, Shropshire, in 1844) in around 1867 and ended up in Birkenhead. They had 6 children, Elizabeth, Mary, William, George, Ada and my grandfather, Harold Butler Williams, born in Birkenhead in 1880. Harold came to Coventry in the early part of the century and we have no information about his family, other than what have found out through my research. Although they lived in Birkenhead, they seem to have continued links with Liverpool, as some of the children were christened at St peter's Church, Liverpool. Any information about the Butler family (and the Williams and Goodwin's) would be great.
