Trying to find anything about the later life of John (or John Edward) Capewell bn Birmingham 1846, m Ethel Warwick London 1903 and was widowed 1905. He re-married (or had a de facto relationship) with another Ethel, who lived with him for many years in Stoke Newington, where he died 1938. His death was registered by E.R. Parker "daughter". This was probably Mrs Emily Ruth Parker nee Godman who lived in the same house some years previously but could not have been his natural daughter. Ethel Capewell died Southgate 1942, described as "widow of John Edward Capewell" death registered by F. Noon daughter. Can anyone throw any furtrher light on this family, please ? John Capewell was my wife's grandfather through his first marriage.
