i am trying to find my mum's sister's My mum was born in Maldon in 1913her mum and dad were Annie Eliza Cole Humphrey before she was married she was born about 1872 in Essex Grandad was John George Cole he was born in Essex about 1869 they were married in Essex in 1893 Iknow my mum had a brother called Percy c Cole born in Essex in 1912 but the sister's i do not know much about I think they were called Daisy Maud Nelly and Pat but as my mum was born a Edith Cole but we all knew her as Mary i was wondering if they had changed there names too as i have looked and looked for them they are all older then my mum so were all born after 1912 thank's LYN

On FreeBMD the births are easily looked up because the mmn was added to the birth records after 1911.

Just a thought your mum was born 1913 so if her sisters were older surely hey would have been born BEFORE 1913 ??

well the 1911 census looks like them Annies age is about right. i would send for one of the childrens birth certs to double check .try for beatrice
