My Gt Grandfather Henry Cole (Harry) emegrated to Canada in 1896 at the age of 16, Before that he lived I think in Wimbledon Surrey, Household in 1881 census for 22 Spencer Building High Street Wimbledon is as follows George Cole (Head) born 1851 birthplace Worcester, Mary A Cole (wife) born 1851 birthplace Guernsey Channel Islands, Isabella Cole (daughter) born 1873 birthplace Chelsea Middlesex, Clara Cole (daughter) Born 1875 birthplace Chelsea Middlesex, Frederick Cole (son) born 1877 birthplace Wimbledon Surrey,and Henry Cole (son) born 1880 birthplace Wimbledon Surrey. I don't know if the whole family emigrated to Canada or just Henry. Is this familiar to anyone? as we don't know much information about our Cole side of the family. |
