Member Since: January 2006 Posts: 1 Send Message	John King Cole One of 6 sons of Peter Cole - possibly Pieter Kohl - probably born 1800 or thereabouts. He moved to England. Of the 6 brothers, John King Cole moved to Almonte, Canada, where he built a clothing store around 1869. The others moved to the States. He married Frances Mott. His son, Holland Cole, married Sara Lorena Brown (Mamie) My husband was John King's grandson. Can anyone fill me in on the history of their emigration to Almonte? In particular, the place of birth of Peter Cole
