Doreen Mackie (nee Cole) I'm trying to find out more information of my grandmother Mary Cole (nee Moorcock) who married a George Cole who died of gas poisioning from the first world war. They had one son named George Cole my father who was in the Royal Navy based at Chatham Kent for 24 yrs. Mary had a brother Jack who held some important position in Canada I believe as he had a very large funereal with a long procession in Winnipeg? at the time my father was born 1901 they lived in Davids Rd. Forest Hill and his father was a Bricklayer Journeyman later Mary became a Housekeeper to a family in Colfe Rd Forest Hill. I would also like any more information on George Cole my grandfather. |
