LILY COLE, I am trying to find anything I can about my maternal grandmother who according to my mother was from the Eastbourne area of E.Sussex. According to my mothers birth certificate her mother was LILY COLE who married a JAMES FUNNELL also from the Eastbourne area. My mother was born Kathleen Georgiana Funnell on 7th September 1910 in Southwark. Lily eventually met and married from the Tyneside area either North or South Shields. I can find no record of the marriage, in fact according to my mother she was a 'love child' and that her mothers name was Lily Funnell !!!!!!!!!!!!! |
