Member Since: October 2006 Posts: 6 Send Message	My daughter's partner has for many years been trying to find his real family (He was adopted as a small child) He did trace his Grandparents but sadly nothing as yet as they did not want to know ( He had been given up for adoption as his mother was unwed ) - so Any help or Info would be appreciated. His mother was MARGARET 'Sally' COOKSON b Feb 1950 in Lancashire. We have an address of Stretford Road - Urmston Lancashire where she lived around 1969 - but no other info. Sadly Sally died in 1998 . 'Sally' worked for some time as a school secretary when younger. She had at least one sister and both were educated at boarding school for a while. Sally's father was a Wholesaler - but grandparents christian names not known If you may have information - please contact me as maybe there is a blood cousin or Aunt ( Or even half siblings ).
