Find Ancestors

I am trying to find details of my great great grandfather George Davidson described in 1873 as a farmer, with a daughter Agnes and possibly other children. Agnes was married in 1873 and described as living on Quayside Newcastle upon Tyne. Agnes married Alexander McIlwraith, a then railway porter and after a few years went to live at Plawsworth Station House, Plawsworth, Chester le Street before returning to Newcastle again. The only George Davidson I can trace is the owner of G Davidson & Co corn merchants who havd warehouse etc on Quayside but I have yet to confirm any connection. This George Davidson went to reside privately in Westmoreland Road, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Thanks for your help all - Agnes is my great grandmother and the ducument I was looking at is her marraige certificate, when she was listed as living on Quayside Newcastle and the only information regarding her father was his name and occupation. The witnesses to the marraige are named William Wilkie and William Fielding. She was 19 years old in 1873 and although I have much later information on her after her marraige I am trying to get a picture of her earlier life and what she did, if employed etc., I have been unable so far to get any information on her mother but I guess I may have to get a birth certificate to confirm further details.
