Wish to find out moye about Elizabeth Davidson's family (she married Thomas Alexander YOUNG whom I can find nothing on). Details I have are that Elizabeth Davidson (daughter of David [labourer] and Elizabeth Davidson nee Russel]) Thomas Alexander YOUNG on 16 July 1852 in Elgin. Elizabeth was born on 26th May 1820 in Elgin, Moray, christened 9 June 1821 (Elgin, Moray - witnessed by James and Elizabeth Russel). Elizabeth Davidson was a servant in Forres, Rafford 1851 and Elgin in 1841. Elgin Old Parish Registers entry No. 41, of 16 July 1852, describe the marriage and Thomas as a labourer. She departed on-board Stag 05 February 1855 from London bound for Fremantle arriving at Fremantle on the Stag on 23rd May 1855. She died on 12th September 1899. |
