Can anyone help? My Great Grandfather was Thomas Davidson, born around 1879. His parents were John and Mary Davidson. I don't know where he was born but he married Janet McIntyre on Isle of Arran in 1902. At least their first two sons were born on Arran then at some point they ended up in Larbert in Stirlingshire. They were living there by 1929. I don't know anything about Thomas's family, but I have researched the McIntyre side quite a bit. I know the children were usually named after family members in those days. Of Thomas and Janets children the names Daniel and Hamilton don't come from the McIntyre side and I wondered if they may have come from the Davidson side. Any help would be appreciated. |
