I am trying to find some information on my mothers family.She was Margaret Davidson and was born in Nigg Scotland in 1919 to Charlotte Davidson who we think was unmarried. our GGrandfathers name was Sinclair Davidson Born in 1872 and died in 1956 in Portmahomack and he was married to Jane Williamson from Inverness. GGrandfathers name was William Sinclair Davidson who was married to Emily Forbes. I have always been fascinated by my mothers family but she was embarresed by being illegitimate, and would never talk about her family. If anyone can help or thinks we might be related please get in touch. |
