Member Since: August 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	Trying to get a fix on my GG Grandfather, James Davidson. probaboy born about 1818 I know he married a Johanna Hewitt, born in Devon, and they lived in Stepney area. He was a master mariner. By 1861 Johanna was already widowed. They had son, John Davidson, unmarried who was also master mariner and a son William Davidson who married Mary Hamilton - they were parents of my grandmother Mary Esther Davidson. I cannot find where James Davidson was born or anything about his family. Can anyone help?
