Looking for any relations of James Vernon Davidson (1914 - 1949) He was my father and was born in Yorkshire, poss Leeds.area. His father was a William Stewart (?) Davidson, his mother was Mary (?). After her death William re-married. He had ties with Boxing. My father joined the Rochdale Fire Service during WWII and met my mother. They married and emigrated to South Africa in 1946. He was killed in a car accident in August 1949 in South Africa . I had one brother called Martin Stewart Davidson (died 1998.) I know my father had one sister (Joan ?) Hope you can help me -thanks |
