	Hi everyone, I'm trying to find more about my maternal ggfather JOHN DAVIDSON (b. 1852) in Cockermouth, Cumberland. I don't know when he died. In 1901 he was a 'permanent railway inspector'. His father was JOHN DAVIDSON (1827) from Ireland, dod unknown, was a general labourer, and his mother was ROSANNA MCLEAN (b.1825) also from Ireland, died in Cockermouth 1862. Any information about John Jnr. or John snr. or their ancestry would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Patsy
