Trying to find Davidson

Hi I'm trying to trace my Dad's family. He passed away last year and I know the following;- His Father was called Stanley Davidson born around 1918 and he married Margaret Rose Deasy (known as Rose). He was one of 9 or 11? Some of his siblings were Lydia,Dorothy,Betty,Hannah,Mathias. They were from Lancashire I think. I think the name Detrafford comes somewhere in the past. There is a story about Hannah detrafford marrying a footman? but again this could be family myth. My Grandmothers side come from Sligo (I think ) some of the siblings were Patrick, Mae,Sheila,Fabian and I think there were others. I'm not sure of my Great Grandparent on either side but would love to know where to start! |
