Hi, I'm looking for info on my grandmother Violet Taylor-DAVIDSON-Singleton who married my grandfather William CARR. Violet remarried in the 1940's to a John Merga. She died in 1984. I think she had a brother, John. If you can help shed some light on this 'mystery woman' please let me know.

I don't know whether they are the same person but I think my paternal grandmother was Violet Davidson (maiden name Drury?) who remarried after her husband Archibald Davidson, born 1894, died relatively young (late 1930s/early 40s?) my father Peter lost touch with her after her remarriage. they were from edmonton/maida vale in london although Archie was born in Scotland.
