This is complicated! My great grandmother was married twice. Her name was Elizabeth House. First to a ? Davidson (for some reason, we think a John or a Robert). They had Sadie Davidson, John (Jack) Davidson and we think George Davidson. When her husband died, she married his best friend, George Strachan. He was from Scotland. They then had Robert Strachan and Elizabeth Strachan (my nana). My nana was born in 1906 in South Shields, Durham. We don't know how old George Strachan is/was, nor John Davidson. Although we do know that John had a daughter called Elizabeth May (now Taylor we think) and she now lives in Canada. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!! |
