Trying to find Davidson

I am trying to find my maternal great grandfather Marcus or Mark Davidson. He lived in Manchester and was born about 1855 to Polish immigrants Caroline and Simon Davidson. There were lots of siblings, Hyman, Harry, Annie, Rachael, Benjamin, Israel and Joseph. The last trace of him is on the 1891 census when he was living with my great grandmother and their son (my grandfather). Any information would be gratefully received, especially by my Mother who would love to know more about her ancestral roots. The family had a tailor's shop on Rochdale Road but the sons seemed to branch out into auctioneering later. |
