Alexander Davidson - b. North Shields Northumberla

I am trying to locate the parents of my great x2 grandfather Alexander Davidson who was born c. 1863 in North Shields he married Jane Kitchin b c 1868 in Whitehaven Cumberland and he died in 1900 in Liverpool.

He was a boiler maker and his birth date is only a guess as I have been unable to find a birth record for him.

I may have found his parents through his sister Agnes b c 1858 in Scotland tho this is also only a gues and I would like to see if there is anybody who could confirm this.

The details I have so far are Andrew Davidson b c 1820 who worked on the Clyde in Scotland on the shipyards he married a Mary Kerr 1825. They were both born in Glasgow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On 1871 census living at 36 Fisher Street, Walker, Northumberland are:

Andrew Davidson aged 49 born in Scotland who is a riveter.
Mary (wife) aged 46 who was born in Scotland

Agnes (daughter) aged 13 who was born in Scotland

Alexander (son) aged 9 who was born in Northumberland, No Shields.

There is a possible birth o/n/d 1863 registered in Berwick ref 10b 327.
