Mary Report 9 Jun 2004 12:06

Trying to find any info on my Grandmother Mary Donnelly's ancestors from Pomeroy in Ireland. She was Christened in Pomeroy, Armagh. She moved to Middlesbrough when she was eighteen she had a brother Patrick who also lived in Middlesbrough. Her Father was John Donnelly and her Mother was Elizabeth Fletcher. Her Grandfather was George Fletcher who on 21st May 1905 was presented with a snuff box by King Edward VII for being the oldest subjest. He died apparently when he was 118 years of age. I would love to hear from anyone with any info about this. My Grandmother was married to a Smith and after being widowed she married a Gallagher (James) from Laragh who was baptised in Aughnamullen in the Diocese of Clogher. His Mother was Alice Vllely and his Father was Peter Gallagher. One of my Grandmother's relations was John Anderson who was a School Teacher in Pomeroy.
