Hi am trying to get any information about the family of my Grandfather, James Eaton. I do not know very much I'm afraid only that he was the youngest of 10 siblings, he was born 22-10-1919, and bred in London. His mother died when he was very young and all the children stayed with the father untill they were eventually put in childrens homes untill he joined the army (lying about his age) where he made Sargent (though he was busted back down). He married Natalie Audrey Iris Laughton and had 2 daughters, one of which is my mother. Siblings names are: 1 David 2 Thomas 3 Jack 4 Elsie 5 Jean 6 Ella 7 Millie (Millicent/Emily?) 8 ?Don't know name 9 ?Don't know name 10 ?Don't know name I have also been told that he was quite closely related to Shirley Eaton (the gold painted woman in Goldfinger (James Bond). My info is very limited and I would be very grateful for any titbit. Natalie x |
