Member Since: December 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	My grandfather was Richard Stringer Elliott born 20th Jan 1901.He lived in the Old Fold Area of Gateshead.His father was called James and died in his 80s in the late 1940s I think.My grandfather had atleast 2 brothers - Jimmy and Billy.The latter served in WW1 with the Cameron Highlanders I think.He moved to Newcastle when he married Barbara Thornton from Windy Nook I think.d.o.b 3103/06.My knowledge of my family is very sketchy.Can anyone help or is possibly related to my garndparents
