My name is Ernest Alan Elliott ( Alan) and I am looking for information on my fathers family. He was born William Ernest Elliott 1906 in Bristol. His father was named as Edwin Elliott on my fathers birth certificate and Edward Elliott on my fathers marriage certificate. He was known to everyone at the time as (Ted) Elliott and was acknowledged as having a considerable amount of knowledge about horses. He was married to Mary Ann Elliott nee Holder. My father used to say that he used to visit an uncle who had a farm and work on the hay when he was a child. I think he said the farm was in Bedfordshire but I cannot be absolutely sure. That makes me wonder if his father had a brother or sister which would make it easier to get further information on his parents. If anyone can help me gain further knowledge I would greatly appreciate your time and affort |
