I am trying to find the relations of Herbert Elliott Williamson. He was born in Bongate, APPLEBY in 1885 and lived there in 1891 census, I suspect he was no longer living at home in 1910 but worked locally as an agricultural worker. He married and I believe had 2 children. He joined up to fight in the 1st WW, one brother Joseph Railton died the other, my grandfather George, came home and lead a happy life. I believe Herbert came home and was shell shocked and went missing. Can anyboby help me in my search for Herbert's relations? Although he was registered at birth as Herbert Elliott Williamson. In the 1891 census he is shown as Herbert W Elliott.
