i have just started researching my family tree and finding it really hard. i am trying to find imformation on my great grandad john henry kirby whos date of birth is not known it must have been around the mid 1800s.he was born in bradford in rose street??he then moved to ireland where he fell in love and married my great grandma. my mother vaguely remembers that he served in india but isnt sure of the regiment name.if anyone can help i would appreciate it. i am also looking for imformation on my grandad thomas joseph cox he had his own tailoring business in birr ireland.he married my grandmother mary kathleen kirby (an arranged marriage) and had 5 children patrick joseph, james, mary anne, thomas joseph and my mother anne bernadette cox.my uncle james came over to england to join the army but was unfit and stayed on to join the railways. he died at the age of 25 possibly a railway accident. if anyone knows any imformation on any of these people plese contact me.thanks margaret
