He was born i believe in belfast N I his name was thomas sydney elliott his father was alexander elliott a blacksmith working at the harland and wolfe shipyard. When work there became short the family moved to glasgow the govan area where he grew up. He had a sister called peggy and a brother called john who was in the RAF stationed in norfolk area any information would be very helpful many thanks chris elliott
