Catherine ELLIOTT was transported to Van Diemen's Land for larceny in 1852. She was from Co.Cavan in Ireland and born around 1823. When she arrived in Tasmania she listed her mother's name as Margaret and claimed she had a brother James who was 15 years her senior and a soldier. Could anyone help me track down something more on this family? Does anyone have experience with Irish military records? Many thanks Kim in Tasmania |
