Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 10 Send Message	John and Ann Howel(l)s of Walford? Leintwardine Herefordshire. (Married before 1813?) I am seeking information about this family. All I know so far is that John was a labourer and they had a daughter Mary Anne who was baptised on 27 March 1814 in Leintwardine. Mary Anne became a housekeeper to Joseph Coates a farmer of Eyton, nr Leominster Herefordshire. She later took his surname (although we have not found the marriage registration) and bore a large family. One of her grandsons became prime minsister of New Zealand. She died in 1893.
