Hi - I'm trying to find details of my gt. grandmother, Lydia Hunter who married Ralph Ayre in 1845 (Stockton, Co. Durham). They had several children, Margaret Ann, Mary Jane, Sarah, Isabella, George Robert, William J., John and Francis Annie. They are all in the 1871 census (Thompson Street, Stockton) but after that can find no trace of Ralph or Lydia. In the 1881 census the family, apart from Ralph, Lydia, Sarah and John, live a few streets away in Dobing Street, Stockton. Sarah and John had married and moved away. No sign of Ralph or Lydia. Have checked GRO files several times. Would appreciate any help given.
